Weekly timesheet grid with project hours and comments

No training required. If your team can use a spreadsheet, they can use eHour. The weekly view is a grid - projects down the side, days across the top. Fill in hours and move on.

Keep what works, lose what doesn't. Same familiar entry pattern. None of the version control nightmares, email attachments, or "which file is current" problems.

Start-stop timer with pause and edit controls

Mobile timesheet app - no install required

The same timesheet on your phone. Open the browser and go.

Responsive on any device Commuting home? Waiting for a meeting? Log hours while they're fresh and not behind a desk.

Add to your home screen. Want quick access? Add eHour to your home screen and launch it like any app. No app store, no IT permissions, no updates to manage.

Weekly approval list with comment notifications

Timesheet approval before it counts

Managers review submitted timesheets before hours flow into reports and invoices. Catch errors early, not after the invoice goes out.

Submit, review, approve. Employees submit completed timesheets. Managers get notified and can approve, reject, or send back for changes. No chasing people for missing hours.

Errors caught before they matter. Spot incorrect project codes, missing days, or unlikely entries before they reach payroll or client invoices. One review step saves cleanup later.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a timesheet?

A timesheet records how employees spend their working hours. It typically shows hours worked per day, which projects or tasks time was spent on, and whether hours are billable. Digital timesheets replace paper forms and spreadsheets with faster entry and automatic calculations.

Is it timesheet or time sheet?

Both spellings are used. "Timesheet" (one word) is more common in software and business contexts. "Time sheet" (two words) appears in older or more formal usage. They mean the same thing.

What's the difference between a timesheet and a time tracker?

A time tracker runs in real time - you start and stop a timer as you work. A timesheet is filled in after the fact, usually at the end of each day or week. eHour supports both: use the timer for precision, or enter hours manually in the timesheet view.

Where is my timesheet data stored?

eHour is hosted in the EU on European servers. Your data stays in Europe and is covered by EU data protection laws.

Is eHour GDPR compliant?

Yes. eHour is fully GDPR compliant. We process only the data needed to run your timesheets, and you control what happens to it.

Does eHour track employee location or activity?

No. eHour records the hours employees enter - nothing else. No GPS tracking, no screenshots, no activity monitoring. We're a timesheet tool, not surveillance software.
